Admissions

We’re not here to select your child.
We’re here to meet your family.

NGA opens September 2027 with a first cohort of 100 across Asia and Oceania. No entrance exam, no selection. Joining begins with a single conversation — in your language, on your schedule.

朝日に輝く海 / The sea shining in the morning sun

How this works

You don’t apply to NGA. We apply to each other.

Most international schools start with a filter — a test, a portfolio, a waiting list. We don’t. NGA has one admissions criterion: does your family share the school’s philosophy. No academic threshold, no English requirement. Instead of selection, we run a Trial Conversation, every weekday, with rolling monthly enrollment all year.

The first step

Four unhurried steps — on your schedule.

1

We Talk

A 30-min conversation, any weekday, EN or JP. No pitch. Bring your child if you wish.

2

Trial Class (from Sept 2026)

Your child joins a real class the following month and meets future classmates.

3

Both Decide

You and we decide together. Rolling monthly admission — no April-only deadline.

4

Welcome

Pay the one-time enrollment fee, meet your mentor, and start the following month.

What if it doesn’t work?

In the first 90 days, if your family decides NGA isn’t right, we issue a full refund of tuition paid — no exit interview, no reason needed. After 90 days, withdraw any time with 14 days’ notice. No long-term contract, no penalty. A child can re-enroll later if circumstances change.

A child in the right place doesn’t need to be held there by a contract — they stay because they want to.

The one-time enrollment fee is the only item not refunded, because real onboarding work has already been done.

FAQ

Honest answers to the questions families ask.

What if my child has never thrived at a regular school?
This is exactly the family our sister school in Japan was built for. Most children don’t have a “learning problem” — they have an “environment problem.” Bring everything you’re worried about to the Trial Conversation.
What if my child barely speaks English?
Yes. Every child has a bilingual mentor (EN + JP) and a CEFR-based language program. Children grow into English by living it — there’s no English gate to enroll.
Can my child attend their local school in parallel?
Many families do. NGA can run alongside a local school or as the main school, and it travels with the child if you relocate.
What about university afterward?
Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level are available via a UK-accredited partner. Many students go on to excellent universities in Japan, the UK, Australia, the US, and across Asia.
How small are the classes — really?
Eight children per class — small enough that no child can hide and none can be missed.
