How We Learn

HOW WE LEARN

Beyond deviation scores,
what kind of learning
awaits?

We’ll walk you through the answers, one by one. Why children grow without rankings. How each day of online classes flows. Whether PE and even friendships can happen online. And where it all leads — everything about learning at NGA.

Starting with what

The heart of learning

Small groups × dialogue × a mentor beside you.

8

Classes of just 8

Small enough that every voice is heard, learning every day with friends across Asia & Oceania.

🤝

A bilingual mentor

Each child has a companion beside them, supporting beginners in their own language. A foundation of safety.

💬

Dialogue & inquiry

Not memorizing answers — posing questions, talking them through, forming your own thinking.

A day at NGA

A day where no one is left behind.

A daily rhythm of live learning built around dialogue (a full-school example; there’s also a double-school track — after school plus Saturdays). Times adjust to each country’s time zone.

After graduation

Two proofs of “who you are.”

Hold proof of both academics and character. To universities abroad, universities in Japan (including returnee admissions), trades, entrepreneurship, or the arts — toward each child’s own path.

01

Proof of academics

Optional Cambridge IGCSE / A-Level through a UK-accredited partner school, plus CEFR. A language universities worldwide can read.

02

Proof of character

Competency assessment read by 400+ leading US schools and universities like Stanford and MIT. A record of strengths tests can’t measure.

Toward many paths

“A good university” isn’t the only goal. Each child moves toward the path they choose.

Diverse children connecting with friends around the world by video call
🌏 The world is the classroom
The whole world as textbook

Dialogue across borders
becomes the learning itself.

No matter where you live, meet diverse friends worldwide every day. Learning never breaks off through a relocation or a return home. That’s what only online makes possible.
