PATHWAYS & CAREERS
There’s more than one path.
But the exit is certain.
Stepping off the deviation-score race doesn’t mean giving up on your future. To the pathway worries of online schooling (What about a diploma? Can I get into university?), NGA answers with a system — three certain exits (the Triple Passport) — and cheers on university, entrepreneurship, and the arts alike: whatever path each child chooses.
Three certain exits —
the Triple Passport
To the pathway worries of online schooling (What about a diploma? Can I apply to university?), NGA answers with a system.
Cambridge IGCSE / A-Level (optional) through a UK-accredited partner school, plus CEFR. A common language of academic ability that universities worldwide can read — opening paths to universities abroad and in Japan alike.
Strengths tests can’t measure — the record of projects, international exchange, and challenges at all-school homeroom — accumulate as competency assessment (Mastery Transcript style). Apply on both wheels: academics and character.
Through concurrent enrollment with group school NIJIN High School (a correspondence-HS support school) and others, secure a Japanese high-school diploma. Hold eligibility for returnee admissions, comprehensive-selection, and general admissions at universities in Japan.
“Affordable, yet three exits” — NGA is designed to keep tuition low while building certainty of pathway.
As many paths as there are children.
With the three passports in hand, toward any path. NGA doesn’t make “a good university” the only goal.
To universities in the English-speaking world and Asia. Compete with IGCSE/A-Level, essays, and a record of activities.

We walk the path as a team.
Termly pathway meetings, designed backward from “who you want to be.” From IGCSE subject choices to returnee-admissions information, a dedicated team runs alongside you.
All-school homeroom presentations, social co-creation projects, international exchange — every week’s challenge accumulates in your portfolio and becomes the “real story” for essays and interviews.
We’ll progressively build coordination for comprehensive-selection and returnee admissions in Japan, and connections with universities abroad — updating pathway options every year.
Honest Q&A on pathways.
Q. Can you really get into university from an online school?
Yes. The key is “designing the exit.” NGA combines three things: ① IGCSE/A-Level and CEFR (a common language for universities worldwide), ② competency assessment (the method behind MTC member schools’ graduates’ acceptance records at 800+ universities, mainly in the US), and ③ a Japanese high-school diploma through concurrent enrollment with NIJIN High School and others — so you’re ready to apply via any route: universities abroad, or in Japan (returnee, comprehensive-selection, general).
Q. How does it compare with IB schools?
The IB DP is an excellent program, but it assumes high tuition and the heavy load of an all-subject curriculum. For the tuition of a school with no campus building, NGA lets you choose IGCSE/A-Level — an equally world-standard qualification — taking “only the subjects that child needs.” On top of that, we add a proof of character (competency assessment) that the IB doesn’t provide, plus the assurance of a Japanese diploma.
Q. Will it count as attendance at a Japanese school?
For elementary and junior-high students, we coordinate with the enrolled school to pursue attendance recognition. Our parent NIJIN Academy has a track record of a 97% attendance-recognition rate (as of April 2026). High-school students earn a diploma through concurrent enrollment with a correspondence program such as NIJIN High School.
Q. Can a pathway open up even with zero English?
Yes. A bilingual mentor walks alongside in your mother tongue while you build up step by step — CEFR level measurement, then elective classes. Qualification exams (IGCSE, etc.) come “optionally, once you’re at a level to take them.” Not rushing is, in the end, the path that grows a child the most.
